Anne has been a volunteer at FeedNC since 2018. She previously served as Director of Lydia's Loft, a non-profit organization in Huntersville, NC, which provides clothing free of charge to those in need in Mecklenburg County. There she volunteered for over 14 years, starting on the day the doors first opened.

Anne grew up in Providence, Rhode Island, and earned a degree in Business/Computer Information Systems from Bentley University in Waltham, MA. After working in internal audit, consulting, and public accounting, Anne and her husband Dave started a family. Focusing on Dave's career, the two moved with their four children many times, all around the country (and the world).

During these years, she found that volunteer work at soup kitchens, clothing ministries, libraries, food pantries, and other nonprofits allowed her to meet great people and delve into the community while also "giving back."

As her children grew, she honed her interest in both college and early career counseling, doing pro bono work to help young adults focus on their futures. She served as the interim college counselor at Eagle Ridge Academy in Eden Prairie, MN.  Anne presently sits on the Charlotte Advisory Board of North Carolina Outward Bound School, where she concentrates her efforts on fundraising for the Unity Scholarship, which allows low income students to participate in the Outward Bound experience.

At FeedNC, Anne enjoys one on one time with the shoppers in the Grassroots Grocery, as well as helping with fundraising events.
