Where are you located?

We are located at 2456 Charlotte Highway, Mooresville, NC 28117.


What services do you provide?

We serve a hot meals Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Donoghue’s Open Door, A Program of FeedNC. Services we provide:

  • Meal Service from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Donoghue’s Open Door

  • FeedNC Mobile Markets

  • Food Movers

  • Grassroots Grocery

  • Culinary Program

  • Warehouse Program

  • Community Connections


How many meals do you serve? 

We serve around 150 guests each day. We also distribute another 1,000 meals each week to our veterans, the elderly, and working families who are in need through our FeedNC Markets.


Are you a Non-Profit Organization?

Yes, FeedNC is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; EIN #56-1911138. Financial information about FeedNC and a copy of our license are available from the State Solicitation Licensing Branch at 919-807-2214. 


How can I donate?

Please see our regularly updated list of Immediate Needs for suggestions of items to donate. To make a financial donation, make your check payable to FeedNC and mail it to P.O. Box 5173 Mooresville, NC 28117 or click here the Donation button above to donate securely. 


Will a receipt be given for donated tems?

Yes.  


What are your volunteer needs?

Volunteers are needed to assist with cooking, food sorting and distribution, and donation pick-up from grocery stores. We have both morning and afternoon volunteer opportunities. Can I volunteer at FeedNC?

If you are 14 years or older, you bet! Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Paul Mihelich, by phone at 704-660-9010 or by email at pmihelich@feednc.org. Be ready to tell him what you like to do and when you are available to help!


Can my children help?

Children under the age of 14 can help us by conducting a canned food or paper goods drive based on our Immediate Needs list.  They can also help by making table decorations, children's gift bags, elderly gift bags, etc. Contact Paul Mihelich by phone at 704-660-9010 or by email at pmihelich@feednc.org to learn more!


Can I volunteer as part of my court-ordered community service? 

Yes. We are always looking for motivated and dedicated volunteers. We will provide a copy of your attendance log, along with a signed letter for your records.


Are there volunteer opportunities in the evenings or on weekends?
